Beatsforbeaches – Jaggy (IM045) [HNYBSS Premiere]

With an appearance on the Honey & Bass Sessions last year and an inclusion on my ‘Producers To Watch 2020‘ list, it’s no secret I’ve had my eyes and ears on rising Belgian producer Beatsforbeaches for a while. And I’m not the only one as most recently names like Darkside & Distance and J:Kenzo have also shown support for his latest creations including today’s premiere ‘Jaggy‘, out next week (10th February) on Indigo Movement.

Beatsforbeaches brings two of his finest to IM045 as the Belgian continues to develop his sound-system focused productions. ‘Jaggy’ proves to be his toughest yet, with enough chesty bass-weight incisions to make you check if you still have a rib cage, plus a wicked and rough reverberating mid-range lead that becomes more lively as the track goes on, ingraining itself into ones mind. The sister track ‘Bloodclot Night‘ moves into proper romper stomper territories. Sharp and stabby with full bodied low end stomps, a proper head nodder that would make an impact in any set and do justice to any system.

It comes as absolutely no surprise to see such quality coming from Beatsforbeaches and no surprise to see the always ahead of the curve Indigo Movement to pick it up. I love the quality of quantity approach in regards to Beatsforbeaches productions however I can’t wait to hear more! From his earlier cuts to his last EP ‘Eazy Baba‘ on Bassin Records to now, development is evident as the beats get juicier. Yet with that said, I still get the feeling that B4B is only just warming up!

IM045 is out 10th February and available to download from the Indigo Movement Bandcamp.
